Yemen was already facing one of the world's largest displacement crises before this latest escalation.
Years of conflict and instability have left more than 4.8 million people internally displaced, with families across the country struggling to meet their most basic needs.
Yemen is also home to more than 65,000 registered refugees and asylum seekers, most from Somalia and Ethiopia.
The latest violence is putting even more families at risk, including people who have already been forced to flee once.
